Two of us visited for lunch today as we had read various articles and wanted to sample a traditional lochside Inn. For me personally , it is pubs and restaurants like The Stein Inn is what i come to, Amazing food.i had Mussels it was delicious my sister had fish and chips they looked delightful you would need to book a table if not may not be ably to get in for very busy but is write near the harbour.

Being on the Gulf Stream, it is rare for us to get snow or ice. We use the best of Scottish ingredients and in particular from the Isle of Skye and the Highlands, including the freshest of shellfish. You can have squid and chips (!) Taken over recently by chef Paul and his partner they are undertaking a programme of improvements to rooms which are perfectly comfortable but will benefit from what is planned. SO disappointing! Two of us had the Cullen Skink soup (Seafood Chowder it was called on the menu), sprinkled with these awful mass produced croutons - no bread offered; that would have cost us an extra £1.50 each.
