It has revealed emotions and helped me heal. Affirmations are simply statements to the self that have a positive message. If I had to describe it in one word it would be intense. I have enjoyed it and i hope you do to. She is so uplifting to listen to in the background when you're not in the right frame of mind. The Power Is Within You. In The Power Is Within You Hay discusses the transformation of her own life once she made a commitment to changing her mental focus from unconscious negativity to a positive and affirming conscious focus. As I was reading the book I let this idea simmer in my head and I also kept a journal to see what comes bubbling up to the surface.
She says many things the bible does say, but in a different way. Hay's concepts and ideas are way out there in this book, but I believe that these concepts would heal relationships with others and yourself. My plan is to read this book until I know it by heart. It is a book that, if you let in, will clean your soul and mind of doubts and fear and negative energy. Best self help book I have ever read!!! I have to admit that I'm not sure I'm convinced that it's really so simple. After years of individual counseling with clients and conducting hundreds of workshops and intensive training programs across the country and around the world, I found that there is only one thing that heals every problem, and that is: to love yourself. If one wants to change their life experience then the effort should start with the end of negative affirmations and the beginning of positive ones. I have read 4 books by Louise Hay. That just about sums up the highlights of Day 1. However, it certainly doesn't do any harm!

Okay, There are many good tips and many good Affirmations, But one thing that put me off was citing examples about 'Cancer' after every few pages. I am very very very disappointed with this book/'writer' and cannot seem to understand what people like about it.. This book was not in “Very good” condition.
