We each currently have 5 to read, but every time we finish one, we are adding at least 1 if not more to our ‘to be read piles’.
It's as good as Ungifted, Gordan Korman is such an amazing author! I may have to admit to being a Gordon Korman fan. But somehow he manages t get student council.

This book was all over the place and I feel like there was a lot of stuff in it completely unrelated or essential to the plot, it probably deserved 2 stars but it was entertaining which is why I gave it three. But he's really good at one thing and that is Video Games if anything he spends all his time playing video games with his friends but his parents don't approve of that lifestyle. He enjoys nothing more then playing video games in his basement with his friends. While the ending feels a bit too tidy, readers will be able to see themselves in the well-drawn characters that populate this quirky, funny, and relatable book.

That is until a girl comes to Cameron with a plan to save a beaver named Elvis. This book was okay this book is about a slacker person that thinks that video games are better than his life. Problem is, a fellow student who is determined to save a local beaver, and an over-eager school guidance counselor, decide that his club is legit and run with it! Everyone wants a part of it. He is a video game obsession and video game is his life, but when his parents started to get mad about him not doing well in school and not doing any extra curricular activities and threatened to take his video games away, he and his friends hacked into the school website and created a new lab called the positive acti.
I thought that the ending could have been better. He makes a club at school and became the president, he didn't think people would jion but they did. Refresh and try again. Hilarious, touching, and had a great message. I gave in a bit and we each got 4 and have a book to read each week for the next month together.
I like realistic fiction because it is like it actually happened. And I enjoyed it! I recommend this to anyone who wants a fun short story. I think the theme of the book is don't slack off and do the things you're supposed to do. He calls the fake club the "Positive Action Group" or P.A.G for short. But when the school counselor gained interest in the club, and started finding members and conducting meetings and Cameron's club got bigger and bigger, Cameron realized things had gone out of his control. Loved it! I suggest reading this, as it is very realistic and has characters that you can connect to astoundingly to.
