The rock pool looked lovely. Kondalilla Falls Road turnoff is along the bus route (approximately 2.6km before Montville) and the national park is only a 700m walk down Kondalilla Falls Road from the nearest bus drop off point.
Leave enough time to complete your walk in daylight hours. If you get the chance, head to elements Montville afterwards to grab a cup of tea and a cake to reminisce and enjoy the view! Walk is well signed and fairly good terrain when dry but a certain level of fitness and preparation is required, ie water, good shoes etc. You can swim in the rock pools at both the top and bottom of the falls.
