This is the version of our website addressed to speakers of English in United Kingdom. It may be difficult to farm, but it is beautiful to see. Cavan is fabulous for people who like the outdoors and also for fishing, it is full of numerous lakes and routes for walking and cycling.

I felt a little uncomfortable being served food and drinks by staff who didn't wear masks. The hotel itself was very nice and the staff were very friendly.

My Fiance and I went to view the Kilmore as a potential wedding venue and we instantly fell in love with the hotel, we had decided to go with the hotel as the venue we wanted but we were then told we had 2 days to pay a €1000 deposit, I told the wedding planner that I wanted both sets of families to see the hotel before paying the deposit and we were told that they had 2 days to view the hotel, in the middle of a pandemic and a 5km travel restriction.

I didn't spend much time there as it was just a quick night's accommodation, but it was very nice looking, and had a cosy feel. When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more. While there have been several studies carried out in relation to face masks, there are contrary conclusions particularly around the correct use of them in public. Great place !
Good selection of nice shops and restaurants. The room was spotless and all the staff we dealt with was very helpful and friendly. Excellent location and very helpful staff and very relaxed atmosphere we really enjoyed the stay and would definitely go back. The dinner was lovely, breakfast wasnt great to be honest. We have not made them compulsory for staff at this time but we have given our staff the option to wear them if the so wish. There was a glass at reception when checking in but I would have felt more comfortable knowing that all staff were wearing masks and trying their best to protect all residents.

Ideally located on the outskirts of Cavan, the Cavan Crystal Hotel is less than 5 minutes' drive from the town centre. we had lunch in chapter 1, great choice and great value, lovely staff, a lot of the town is one way so it was easy to get around, but avoid the main street in the late afternoon, traffic! Fab lil hotel and and pub , from the time we arrived we were so welcomed by staff ,Shanon was lovely at reception and checked us in and even brought us to our room , as it was my girlfriend's birthday we were at the bar after a lovely dinner food was also excellent , Shanon and alishia the brought my girlfriend out a birthday cake we were not expecting, overall stay was tops room was lovely and cosy lovely staff lovely food and lovely lil town highly recommend. Cavan is very easy get around and well signposted. Hotel Kilmore is located just off the N3, and is set against a beautiful landscape of gardens, making us an ideal location for any special occasion.
